Gardiner Arms is a very old listed building, so there are some Accessibility challenges for our visitors to be aware of.
Getting into the Pub
There are two entrances to the pub, one via the Car Park and one via the Beer Garden:
-
The entrance from the Car Park has a slight threshold so watch out for tripping.
-
The entrance via the Beer Garden is level-access.
The Beer Garden can be reached from the Car Park by walking a few metres along Medcroft Road from the Car Park entrance.

Inside the Pub
Entering from the car park, turn left for the main bar and right for the 'back' bar
In the main bar there is a single step down at end of the bar nearest to the Car Park entrance.
Many of the floors are stone flags and are a little uneven.
Space inside the pub is quite limited and is not suitable for mobility scooters. There is plenty of space in the Beer Garden.
There are no dedicated disabled toilets but there is level access to both male and female facilities via the 'back bar'.
